Get up, stand up and come out for a nice 5k run or walk. April is amputee awareness month and Optimus Prosthetics is putting on their 1st annual event.
Registration includes a t-shirt and lapel pin and an after party with music from The Ark Band
Packet pickup will be at 9:15am on Saturday, April 18th.

All proceeds are going to help send amputee children to summer camp. The foundation, Get Up Stand Up was created in honor of Gabriel Gaboo Mondesir who became an amputee after being diagnosed with peripheral vascular disease and recently passed away. The mission of Get Up Stand Up is to raise money for families of amputee children to send them to the Paddy Rossbach Youth Camp thru the Amputee Coalition of America. All proceeds will go directly to the youth camp to sponsor a child. With the average cost being $1800 per child, the goal is to send as many as we can.
